20 weeks

Well this little coconut has made it!! 20 weeks!! (actually according to our ultrasound this week, I'm further along than we thought 20 weeks & 4 days. Those 4 days do count because I'm a baby like that. But to save you some stress, we're just going to stick to original schedule. So there. I was only thinking of you dear friends. You're welcome. ;)

Finally figured out (aka... prescribed myself) that the hip/pelvic pain I'm experiencing is Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction. It's just really fancy terminology for: your Relaxin hormones have gone into over drive & ensure you have fairly constant hip/pelvic pain. Especially at night. When you have to get up to pee. Which of course, is a lot... so it's good fun. I'm trying to be optimistic, but I'm not making any promises.

This week we were very blessed to have a 20 week ultrasound which went really well. I'm in love with our little bambino's cute note & lips! He/she even flexed his/her bicep for us!

But what's been on my brain is trying to sort out the stroller/car seat situation... momma's - what's your preference? Favourite? I'm strongly leaning towards a jogger... just trying to figure out which one. Keep in mind, I live in the beautiful land of Saskatchewan where we have potholes a many, long winters & not always amazing sidewalk situations.

Okie dokie... that's all for now.
Ciao & have a fantastic weekend!
XO

  3. I definitely suggest a Baby Jogger brand (such as City Select mentioned above). I have a City Mini GT and love it. No complaints...ok maybe one, the mesh storage basket underneath is way too small.

With regard to a car seat. For an infant seat, I had a Britax Be safe, or whatever it's called. It was basic, but a good company and did what it needed to. For the next stage of seat, I have a Peg Perego Convertible...and it's amazing!!!

    1. good to know! That's one thing too... the storage basket ideally needs to be big! I find it so funny that they would make some so small!
