Autumn is here! I'm actually surprisingly excited for everything the fall brings, but I think especially this year because it means we're closer to meeting this little baby so soon! I love the summer, but I really do love the fall as well... especially because it means I get to wear my Rebecca King 3-way sweater. (this year though, it won't be getting buttoned up). Her work is beautiful & this is the perfect autumn sweater to keep you nice and cozy on those cooler days. You can check out her stuff here.
My tummy is filling up very nicely & I'm constantly asking my husband how my belly is supposed to continue getting bigger... and then it does! At my midwife appointment this week, she measured my belly & everything is measuring on track & baby's head is apparently quick low down there, so that's a good thing & makes up for all the pain. I'm very grateful for this active baby that likes to move, but likes to stay in this one position all the time. He/she especially likes to stick his/her booty out a lot, which is cute & hilarious at the same time.
My pregnancy app also tells me that this little coconut is now the size of a pineapple or melon and weighs about 5.5 lbs! Umm... so that explains the very heavy belly.
And in other news... I was hoping to blog this week about the maternity jeans that came in the mail... but they weren't quite what I was expecting & they still have the tags on them... so I've ordered another pair in a size down... we shall see how these other jeans pan out, then maybe, just maybe I'll share more about them & decide what I should do. But speaking of maternity clothes... any momma's out there have a favourite top, postpartum clothing/store that they absolutely swear by?? I've been looking into white plum, but haven't made the plunge yet! PS - I'm not the only pregnant woman to have a complete meltdown about the wardrobe struggle during pregnancy, right?

I love your belly :-) It warms my heart and makes me smile. One thing that is VERY exciting is that the minute that baby is out, you can bend again!!! You can actually bend down to tie your shoes, you can reach your feet, everything! Your belly will still be big, but you can bend. oh, i remember LOVING that...lol. Can't wait to see your babe :-)
