We went on an adventure to Elkridge resort over in Waskesui.... north Saskatchewan. We put our snowshoe's to the test & ventured out into the snow & wilderness. It was bliss... cold, snowy & beautiful bliss. It's so important to take time to get away from the busy-ness of our every day lives... even if it's just for 24 hours to escape into nature! Do it, and do it often! The whole time we kept saying how grateful we were for all of our blessings & for everything we've been given. This time away allowed us to reconnect & recommit to each other & to what is important in our journey.
We saw two massive elk hanging out together, only showing us their bums.
We sat by the cozy warm fire in the lobby and got all warm again post snowshoeing.
We only spent one day snowshoeing as my cold got really bad, so instead on our second day there, we decided to just drive around in the woods & be in nature. It was beyond beautiful, quiet & peaceful. Do you go on little adventures with your love? Where do you go? I'd love to get more ideas for different adventures we can go on.
